Riddle of the day:

A guy lives in 30th floor of an apartment. Every morning he will take the lift down to the ground floor to go to work. But, when he come back from work he will take the lift to the 20th floor and then take the stair and climb up to 30th (his house). Only when there is people in the lift or during rainy days, he will take the lift straight up to 30th. Why??????

My hair styles

Hair evolution.

Jan 2008: I tied my hair during my placement so I will look professional and not too kiddy.

Jan 2008: I didn't tie my hair up during the night after work. It looks better.

I cut my hair so short after 1yr stay in Adelaide. I look pretty good in this pic but not all with this hairstyle though.

My hair growwwwwww longer and its out of shape already. =/

Well, when i set it for my prom, I look not too bad wor. =) the curl are actually pretty. keke

And, this is how my hair looks like when it didn't curl properly and when the wind blowssssss.
[I like this pic =) thank Hyper ^^]

After trimming my hair (get bad comment from Sleepy and Hyper for my previous long n messy hair). I get my fringe back^^ and the curl still there =)

Diligent Profile Sdn. Bhd.

I have been spending a lot of my mom money recently. So, I decided to advertise her company products in return. >.< (Although I'm suppose to do it for free. keke) First of all, since i was young, whenever somebody ask what's my mom company produce, I always give the answer: She make 'knife' (In Chinese). And everyone first reaction was: Oh, it is the cleaver? Then I shouldn't mess up with you because you have free supply of knives. LOL!! Sad to say I cant really explain what my mom company does as that is a totally different field of profession. Now, I hope this blog could give everyone a rough idea of what cutter is and if anyone is working in relative field, please consider Diligent as he/she business partner. :-) For business purpose, please email DiligentProfile@hotmail.com Now lets start with something that the factory actually produce:

Router bits:

Router bits are rotating tools that are available in a variety of profiles and shapes. They are used with routers for edge shaping (ref: http://www.globalspec.com/Industrial-Directory/definition_of_router)

This is how a router bit looks like. Depending on their designs, their are capable of producing different type of edge either for decorative suppose or to produce butt joint.

Example of router bit for decorative purpose:

Examples of router bits which produce butt joint:

From the diagram we can see that the edges are actually form an interlocking system. I guess the complexity of the design will decide how secure the joint could be.
Where can this system be applied? Well, I don't really remember but I heard once from my mom, this system can applied on wood floor such as:

Each piece of wood are join together through the butt joints.

This should give you a rough idea how the router bit work and how the butt joints look like.

I dun really study the detail of this piece of work but I guess my explanation won't be too off track also. LOL

Next 'baby' produce my the factory: Woodworking cutters
(can't find the definition for this, I think picture can explain it =D)

These are how woodworking cutter look like and I think the colour is just the preference of the factory that actually produce them. Diligent like to spray the cutter red and orange for some reason which I forget. =P

This shows what a cutter can do. Well, from the picture, they are bigger and thicker than router bits, therefore can be designed to do more complex work. In addition, there have 1/2 more cutting sides compared to router bits making them better cutting tool (I guess, LOL).
If you wish to know in detail, please contact the professional. ^.^

Last but not least: The woodworking drill (supply)

Different types of drills.
A set of drills.

What drills do? The only function I ever know is to drill a hole on the wall, and put a screw in the hole and then hang a picture/mirror/clock on it. Like this

Well, I did know another function of drills:

A machine to hold the drill and use for balancing work for final touch up.
All the cutters are thick and big in size and normally they will be operating at a very high speed in heavy industry. So, balance is very importing to ensure the safety of the working environment and also the quality of the work.

Example of balancing the cutter. The hole make by the drill actually balance the weight distribution of the cutter during spinning.

Finally, I think i covered most of the things I should have cover. haha.
So, hope next time when I say my mom make knives, they will think on the right track. =)
